How we work
Editorial Policy
Our standards for sourcing facts, explaining analysis, reviewing financial software information, and correcting published content.
Facts and analysis
We aim to distinguish verifiable statements about a service from our interpretation of what those details may mean for a reader. Product descriptions and other material factual claims should be supported by identifiable sources where available; editorial analysis should be presented as analysis, not as a sourced fact.
We avoid unsupported labels such as “best,” “cheapest,” or “highest-rated.” A conclusion should follow from stated criteria and evidence, with relevant scope and limitations explained.
Changing information and verification
Pricing, fees, rates, product features, availability, eligibility, and affiliate terms can change. We give priority to current primary sources, retain source links where available, and record verification dates for time-sensitive product information when it is published.
A date by itself does not establish that information is current. Readers should confirm material terms with the provider before acting on them.
Reviews and first-hand experience
We do not publish fabricated reviews, testimonials, ratings, or user experiences. We do not describe a product as personally tested unless the relevant testing has actually taken place and its basis can be described.
Commercial independence
Affiliate compensation, if present, is not evidence that a product is superior and must not determine an editorial conclusion. Any affiliate relationship relevant to a page should be disclosed clearly. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Corrections and updates
We aim to correct material errors and update content when relevant facts change. Substantive changes should be reflected in an updated date where one is displayed, and important factual claims should be checked against their sources.
A public contact channel for correction requests has not yet been configured. The Contact page will be updated if a channel is established.
Scope and limitations
FinanceStack Lab publishes informational and comparative material. It does not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Rules and product terms may differ by location; we identify a market when it materially affects the information and is known.
